Commonwealth UK Scholarships 2024 – Fully Funded

The Commonwealth UK Scholarship is now available from the UK government. Commonwealth Scholarships are fully Funded scholarships to study in the United Kingdom. You can apply for either a full-time master’s or a PhD program. Each year, about 200 students are chosen to study in the United Kingdom. You can apply for free because there are no application fees. All expenses will be covered by the Scholarship Programme. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) offers master’s and Ph.D. programs in every discipline. Commonwealth Scholarships are provided in all academic disciplines. There have been 27,800 applications for Commonwealth Scholarships thus far. Scholarships are offered in the United Kingdom.

The Commonwealth Master Scholarship is only available for one year, whereas the Commonwealth PhD Scholarship is available for three years. It is also feasible to study in the UK without the IELTS. Financial Coverage

• Approved Round Airfare Tickets to and from the UK at the end of your award.
• Approved Full tuition fees.
• Stipend (living allowance) of £1,084 per month, or £1,330 per month for students attending universities in London.
• Warm clothing allowance, where applicable
• Thesis grant to cover the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation, where applicable
• Study travel grant to cover the costs of study-related travel within the UK or abroad.

Available Fields of Study

The Commonwealth Scholarship is intended for full-time Masters and PhD studies at an institution in the United Kingdom. You can apply to any UK university that interests you.

Art, social sciences, natural sciences, clinical, medical sciences, engineering, education, and so forth. Scholarships are available in the following six categories:

• The role of science and technology in development
• Strengthening health systems and capacities
• Promoting global prosperity
• Increasing global peace, security, and governance
• Enhancing resilience and response to crises
• The right to access, inclusion, and opportunity

Eligibility Criteria

• You must be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or you must be a British-protected person.
• You must be a permanent resident of an eligible Commonwealth country.
• Commonwealth UK Scholarships are available to those who have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree, or a two-year bachelor’s degree and a two-year master’s degree.
• BE NOT registered for a Ph.D. or an MPhil leading to a Ph.D. at a UK university before September/October
• Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (1:1) honors standard by October, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
• You must be ready to start your academic studies in the UK by September
