The Absence of Eden trailer complete impratnt topic and other things are discussed briefly.

In her most recent film, The Absence of Eden, Zoe Saldaña draws inspiration from her family’s history as immigrants.

The film’s gripping teaser, which EW exclusively releases above, introduces us to her character. This undocumented immigrant teams up with an ICE agent who is ethically torn to save an innocent kid from a vicious cartel.

“Your offspring, your future, your harvests. Everything is made real by us. What actions do you take? In a moving moment, she yells, “You just stand there and take and take and take and take and take and take and take.”

Saldaña’s spouse, Marco Perego, is a visual artist, writer, and producer; this is his first time directing. His 2017 sculpture, in which he represented children escaping from Syria to Italy by filling 714 shoes with concrete, inspired the movie.

Though he desired to portray a story “about humanity” on a larger scale, he was drawn to doing so, much like the artwork. “I think from the artistic perspective what was interesting to me was why history is always coming around, and why human beings don’t try to look inside themselves and try to really advance in the next level of human behavior,” Perego tells Entertainment Weekly. “Humanity is the central theme of the film, not the boundary. It is a query regarding human beings. More About The Absence of Eden trailer

The Absence of Eden trailer is very unique and exciting. Perego also drew on Saldaña’s and his own personal experiences as immigrants. Saldaña’s late maternal grandmother, who moved from the Dominican Republic in the 1960s, is honoured in the film. “I was very honoured and deeply moved when he dedicated the movie to her,” she recounts. She meant the world to us, and we the world to her. She is the source of everything that has influenced me as a woman.”

Perego and Saldaña carry on their grandmother’s heritage by telling their three kids her grandmother’s story. “For us as a family, immigration is a topic that we celebrate and is a topic that we normalize, and we always share with our children the same way our parents shared with us.”

She continues, “So I’m not surprised that Marco, for his first movie, chose such a sensitive topic because he is a sensitive creature and he’s such a profound artist that this was his way of adding something positive to this conversation.”

As he would in the lead-up to a sculpture, Perego studied his subject for two years. Among these were trips to the border between the United States and Mexico, where he heard immigration stories from locals. He also contributed his artistic background to several scenes in the movie. A scene showing people waiting to cross the border while seated can be seen in the trailer. Perego claims that Francisco Goya, a Spanish painter, served as the inspiration for the image. “They actually sit down like a Goya painting because the idea is to give them beauty, to give humanity to these people, not just through [the] conversation [of the film], but also the picture of it,” he explains.

Regarding his lead actress, Perego states that he appreciated that “she wanted to say yes to collaborating with me.” He continues, “It was a big responsibility, and I learned a lot from her in every aspect, and it was a very special experience.”

Saldaña agrees, stating that working with Perego on set was “a gift” and an “out of body experience.” “One of the things that I love about my partner is that we have a great deal of respect for each other and each other’s work,” she continues. And Marco is undoubtedly that storyteller, producer, director, visual artist, writer, and creator. He’s the total deal.

“And so getting to work with him, knowing how hard it was for him to put this together, but also knowing his true intention as to why he wanted to tell a story like this, I feel honored that he still chose to work with me,” she says while chuckling. “I mean, he doesn’t really have a choice, but…”
