Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must come from a developing country in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, or the Middle East, and currently reside there.
• Applicants for master’s scholarships must have a Maximum age of 30 and 35 for PhD degree scholarships.
• Applicants must have a university degree or relevant professional experience from their home country.
• The Preference will be given to Catholic Christians or those who are belonging to a Christian denomination. other religious applicants may also apply if proposed by Catholic partners and committed to interreligious dialogue.
• Applicants must plan to pursue a Master’s, PhD, or other postgraduate studies, or plan a post-doc or a research stay at a German university for 2-6 months for academics.
• Applicants must be Proficient in the German language.
