My body aches in every pore. Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.”
She said, “Josh had a rich childhood full of deep intelligence, humor, antics, sports, bodyboarding, snowboarding, hiking in the mountains, reading, friends, and music.” Josh never lost his sense of humor, optimism, kindness, or ability to stand up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves in the face of adult sorrow. He also never stopped loving his family.

Waring, who had struggled with substance abuse throughout his life, was arrested in 2022 on suspicion of one felony and several petty drug counts. He eventually entered a guilty plea. Joshua Michael Waring had already been imprisoned for four years, from 2016 to 2020, for attempting murder.
In her post, Peterson acknowledged the difficulties her kid faced. “I am eternally grateful for your understanding and the impact you made on his life, even though not everyone understands those suffering from substance abuse disorder,” the letter said. “I also want to express my gratitude to everyone who has helped me along the way and encouraged me with their stories of overcoming substance abuse disorders. Several parents have also told me about the children they have tragically lost over the years due to illness.
Peterson said, “My heart is with you, and I pray you have found the peace that you so deserve.” “The cutest angel has joined Heaven, and darling boy, you are finally free.
