Construction Visa Subsidy Program in Australia 2024

The Government of Australia announced the Construction Visa Subsidy Program to fulfill the shortage of construction workers in Australia. All workers who have skills in the construction industry are welcomed by this construction program to fulfill the demand for a skilled workforce. In construction jobs, you need to build Houses, Roads, Bridges, Towers, Buildings, etc. Any applicant who is selected by this program will get $10,000 in support. It covers all their `expenses in Australia like Visa Fee, Agent Fees, and Travel costs.

What Occupation Required for CVSP

For the Construction Visa Subsidy Program (CVSP) applicants must be qualified in electricians architects, surveyors, bricklayers, Engineers, and more fields. Western Australian employers hire only those foreign workers who have trained in one of these fields. You can see the occupation jobs list here.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only CVSP employers will sponsor applicants for one of these visas (482, 494, or 186) as skilled workers.
• The sponsored CVSP employee must have an office in Western Australia and be constructing a building there.
• Visas must be granted by the WA State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP). The following visa subclasses are 190 or 491.

How to Apply

First, you register yourself in the WA registration form. When registered, the WA service provider will publish all your details to the migrant employer register. When an employer needs a worker, WA service providers will give all your contact information to the migrant. The migrant employer contacts the worker and if you satisfy the employer he offers you a job.
