The University of Toronto is now accepting applications for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship Awards program for the academic year 2024. This program is open to all international applicants who want to enroll in the Graduate degree program 2024-25 academic session at Toronto University, Canada. It is funded by the Province of Ontario and the University of Toronto. The province allocates OGS awards to universities, specifying how many each can award to its students annually. We encourage international students to apply for the Ontario Scholarship program to study in Canada.

Financial Benefits
The OGS scholarship provides:
- $5,000 per session
- $10,000 for 2 consecutive study terms
- $15,000 for 3 consecutive study terms
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the OGS awards are as follows:
- Candidate must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada).
- Candidates must apply for graduate studies (master’s or doctoral level).
- Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time program for 2 or more terms which is equal to 21 to 52 weeks.
- Candidates must have obtained at least an A- (or equivalent) in each of the last 2 completed years of study (full-time equivalent).
- OR the student must demonstrate an overall average of at least A- (or equivalent) in all graduate courses If the student has completed 2 years or more of graduate study at the time of application.
- Applicants must be registered or intend to register in an eligible program (full-time basis) in 2024-2025

How to Apply?
- Applicants must submit an OGS application online to their proposed graduate unit using the University of Toronto School of Graduate Studies.
- Each graduate unit will have its internal submission deadline.
